We offer fixed-fee pricing for all design development work. You’ll know exactly what the design phase will cost upfront—no hourly billing, no surprise invoices. The only aspect billed hourly is site visits and communication with contractors during construction, since the need for that varies significantly depending on the builder and scope. This model keeps things transparent and fair while allowing us to stay deeply focused on the creative process.
Absolutely—and we love them. Every region has its own architectural charm, materials, and way of living, and we find that deeply inspiring. We’re fully equipped to work virtually through walkthroughs, presentations, and detailed documentation. And yes—we’re happy to travel when needed.
You don’t have to. We begin with a style study, where we ask you to gather 4–6 inspiration images per room. This helps us understand what you’re naturally drawn to—even if you can’t quite name it yet—and allows us to design something cohesive and deeply personal.
We’ve worked on homes of all sizes, but we’re especially drawn to older homes and small, character-filled spaces—cabins, beach cottages, and houses tucked into nature. We love spaces with history and heart, and design in a way that honors that.
