Woodland Manor - Kentfield, California interior design

A new home with an old soul.

Set in Kentfield, California, Woodland Manor is a new build crafted to feel as though it has stood for generations. Inspired by the romance of English cottage design, every element was meticulously considered — from the paneling and natural stone to the thoughtfully incorporated decorative vent covers. Pattern plays a starring role throughout the home, adding both depth and charm. The guest house kitchen became an opportunity for contrast, with a moodier palette and a striking, highly veined marble that commands attention. In the bathrooms, we leaned fully into classic detailing, using vintage dressers as vanities, layering in timeless tile patterns, and choosing wallpaper that feels storied yet fresh. The result is a home that is spacious and playful, deeply character-driven, and filled with moments of discovery.

The light in this room makes it the perfect place for all the different types of utility and heavy lifting one may need. Not only laundry but potting plants, wrapping gifts, etc.
California Cottage Style Materials
The wallpaper was our starting point for this bathroom. Converting a vintage dresser into the vanity and paneling the tub skirt are a couple of ways we layered in the cottage charm
This ADU kitchen celebrates the drama of marble. Bold veining paired with collected accessories gives the space a timeless, European character.
