We design homes that feel like they’ve always belonged to the people who live in them. Each project is entirely new, shaped by our clients’ character and values—more “them” than they could have created alone. Our work is high quality without being high maintenance, rooted in natural materials and crafted for real life. We believe in character over perfection and spaces that invite you to truly live. Because the best homes don’t just look beautiful—they feel like you belong in them.
Hallways, alcoves, and other small spaces are often underutilized and underappreciated. And yet they’re some of the most fun to design — and the places we interact with constantly, every single day. When you give these “in-between” spaces real love and attention, the whole home feels more thoughtful, more complete, and honestly… more exciting.

This year was filled with old houses, clients who trusted the process, and an awakening of what type of work and client that allows us to be our best. Thank you for being here - following along, cheering us on and allowing us to thrive is work we care so much about. Happy New Year!

I love reading and, thanks to @amazonkindle, I was able to tackle 33 books this year. Here are my top five…
1. Goat Song by @brad__kessler - technically this is the second time I’ve read this book, but it may very well be my favorite book of all time. I got a few jeers from my book club when I recommended it and it ended up being a fan favorite for the group. I absolutely love Brad Kessler‘s writing. It’s beautiful without being indulgent.
2. A New Earth by @eckharttolle - I know I am late to the game here, but I’m so glad I arrived! Though fairly dense, and you must be in the right headspace to read it, this book actually altered my life. The messages resonated in a way they never have, though I have heard them all before, and created a shift in me that now allows for more joy and presence.
3. Be Ready When the Luck Happens by @inagarten - I seem to be the only person on the planet who hadn’t seen any of Ina‘s shows or cookbooks, but I picked this up because I love memoirs it was recommended by Oprah and I’m so grateful I did. Her story is incredibly inspiring and, as a business owner, I related to the constant choices and risks she’s had to make. It also just has a feel good quality to it that was nice to curl up with every night.
4. A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith - this old classic has definitely held up. It was a moving novel that will stay with me. It’s a classic for a reason.
5. Normal People by Sally Rooney - I admit that I saw the show first, and was completely captivated by the characters and storyline. It’s so beautifully encapsulates young love in a way that is palpable and, at least for me, relatable. This book is the perfect balance of romance, coming-of-age, and drama.
I’d love to hear all of your favorite books of the year so I can get my 2026 lineup going!

One thing I never expected when I got into interior design is how much it promotes community in my daily life. It’s been one of my favorite and most unexpected things about the job.
